Dashboard

Your dashboard is your personal hub for career-connected learning. From your dashboard you can:

  • Explore & Complete Activities
    Access Work-Based Learning (WBL) experiences like internships, apprenticeships, school-based projects, and more — all designed to help you build and demonstrate real-world skills.

  • Identify Opportunities
    View and apply to jobs, internships, and apprenticeships shared with you by educators and workforce partners.

  • Upload Your Evidence
    Showcase what you’ve learned by submitting reflections, photos, videos, or documents tied to your activities and accomplishments.

  • Track Your Progress
    See your growth in real time — from skills earned and seals completed to hours logged and evidence reviewed

My Evidence & My Assignments

The My Evidence and My Assignments widgets display the number of Evaluated Evidences you have submitted and the number of In-Progress Assignments you are currently working on completing. By using these two widgets on your Dashboard you can do the following:

  • In the My Evidence widget:
    • The total number of evaluated Evidence submissions will be displayed. If you have any submissions awaiting evaluation, a yellow note will display the number of pending evaluations.
    • You can click this widget to view all your Evidence.
  • In the My Assignments widget:
    • The total number of Assignments you have started (In-Progress) will be displayed.
    • You can click this widget to view all your Assignments.

Seals & Opportunities In Progress

The Seals in Progress and Opportunities in Progress widgets display the Seals and Opportunities you are currently working towards completing based on the Skills you have documented. Using these widgets you can do the following:

  • See your progress towards completing a Seal or Opportunity indicated by the percentage (%) and highlighted circle surrounding the Seal or Opportunity.
  • View details for In Progress Seals or In Progress Opportunities by clicking the circular icon.
  • For the OhioMeansJobs – Readiness Seal, generate a downloadable completed OMJ Readiness form by clicking the Generate Form button.  (This form can be signed and approved by your mentors and includes an appendix with links to all relevant Evidence you have submitted for the Seal.)

Skills

The Skills widget displays the Skills you completed or are in-progress based on the Evidence you have documented.  Using this widget you can do the following:

  • See your progress towards completing Skills by toggling between the Completed and In-Progress tabs.
  • Click the View All Skills button to see all Skills available to you.
  • Click on the Skill Hexagon for more information about the Skill.

Work-Based Learning & Community Service

The Work-Based Learning (WBL) and Community Service widgets display the total time for evaluated Evidence you have submitted related to Assignments or added Evidence tagged as eligible for WBL or community service credit. Using these widgets you can do the following:

  • View your total time for WBL or community service hours.
  • Click the Add Evidence () button to add new Evidence.

Internship Progress

Some Work-Based Learning experiences, like Internships, require ongoing reflections.  If you are participating in an Activity of this type, you will see an Internship Progress widget showing your completion percentage. You can use this widget to do the following:

  • See progress based on the number of completed reflection tasks.
  • Click the View button for a completed internship Activity to view all tasks.
  • Click the Submit task button to work on incomplete tasks.
