Getting Started
Business partners play a key role in shaping Ohio’s future workforce by offering meaningful work-based learning opportunities to students. On PortfoliOH, Business Administrators inherit all of the features of Educators and other Organization Administrators, which enables them to do the following:
- Skills & Seals – All work on PortfoliOH is aligned to Skills and collected sets of Skills called Seals.
- Activities – Opportunities for students are called Activities on PortfoliOH. Business administrators can use this process to create internships, job fairs, simulated work experiences, or other activities for students.
- Groups – Groups can be used to manage a group of interns or students visiting your business for a field trip
- Evaluating Evidence – Give feedback to students involved with your business by evaluating the Evidence they create on PortfoliOH.
- Partners – Partnerships allow businesses to share their Activities and Seals with schools or districts.
- Organization – Business administrators can manage their organizational information and make updates as needed.
In general, these tasks are taken care of by intermediaries and school administrators who are already in place for support.
Creating a Business Account
Note: You must be invited to join PortfoliOH by the Administrator of a school or educational service center (ESC) type organization.
If you haven’t received an invitation but would like to get started, contact us at support@probada.com — we’ll help you get set up right away.
Once you have received an email invitation from support@probada.com, follow these steps to create your account:
- Open the email and click the Set Up Your Account button.
- On the welcome screen click the Let’s Start button.
- On the next page, your email address and username will be pre-filled.
- Enter and confirm a password, then click the Register button.
- On the next screen, click the Start Exploring button to enter your PortfoliOH dashboard.
Reset Password
If you need to reset your account’s password, follow these steps:
- On the PortfoliOH login page, click Forgot Password.
- Enter the email you registered with or the email associated with your PortfoliOH account.
- Click the Recover Password button.
- A link to reset your password will be emailed to you.
- Log in using your new password.
Note: Before resetting your password, make sure you are logged out of your PortfoliOH account on all open browsers on your device. If your browser automatically logs you in to your account while trying to reset your password, try a different browser or clear the cache and try again.
